A GOOD club is like the perfect cocktail - it needs the right mix of ingredients to satisfy people.
The mix is superb at the Emerald Memorial Club. You can get a top meal any day of the week - including some wonderful specials. There are five bars where you can enjoy a drink or two. A gaming room gives you the chance to make your day a winning one, and there’s entertainment on weekends.
And all of this is in a family atmosphere where you get a country welcome that has been perfected over 40 years of operation. As well as its 3000 members, the club welcomes reciprocal members and visitors.
At the club they say you’ll get the best deal in town when it comes to meals. The cool and inviting bistro gives top value for money seven days a week for lunch or dinner, with fresh garden salads, vegetables, dessert, tea and coffee within the buffet price. There are two or three specials going most days, and on Friday and Saturday nights the roast carvery is a mouth-watering attraction.
Then mosey over to the Cash Cove Gaming Lounge and play the machines in air-conditioned comfort. There are 60 poker machines to choose from, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, you can join in the fun of the promotions to have a chance at winning a range of prizes. At the Lounge Bar, put in your Keno numbers. With more than 12 televisions throughout the club, you’ll have no trouble checking to see if your numbers come up!
Throughout the week, enjoy a drink at the Quarterdeck Bar where the nautical theme rules supreme. You’ll forget that you’re a fair way from the sea! Join them for their tradesmen’s happy hour from 5.00pm to 6.00pm from Monday to Thursday. The three pool tables can be used free at those times.
Then on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the Quarterdeck becomes Emerald’s main port of call for entertainment! In fact, the Quarterdeck Nightclub often hosts live entertainment such as bands, solo artists, karaoke and DJs on weekends. The occasional tribute show is also staged there.
All five bars have competitive prices and good drink specials. And if you’re into horse racing, there are TAB facilities in the Cec Morton Bar. The club’s bottle shop is available to all members and reciprocal members - with extremely competitive prices and long trading hours.
The Emerald Memorial Club is the entertaining centre for all major corporate seminars, trade shows, symposiums, weddings, parties, small or large functions. The club has first class facilities to cater for every proposal, with five function rooms complete with executive facilities. See you there soon.
