Alpha is a lovely clean little town and its main street features large albizzia trees which create glorious shady areas.

This is a town of murals, with nearly 30 pieces of public artwork to see.

Natural attractions include two jump-ups, with their layers of volcanic soil showing different colours for a fine visual effect.
