QUALITY of produce and range of choice are two factors that help make dining out such a pleasurable exper­ience at the Turf N Surf Restaurant and Bar.

Part of the Landsborough Lodge Motel complex, the restaurant is open to the public six nights a week (it caters for only motel guests on Sunday nights).

There are nine entrees and more than 29 main courses (and that’s before you look at dessert), so the problem isn’t finding something you’ll like ... it’s deciding on the one you’ll like best.

You might choose Nile perch, red emperor, oysters, pork chops, rack of lamb, a fresh seafood platter or a huge, tender steak. And all the produce is fresh.

The restaurant caters for children as well, with the menu including big bird (chicken nuggets), jackaroo (sausages and vegetables), jillaroo (rib fillet with vegetables) and flipper (crumbed whiting with chips).
