Unusual landscape on the
Boulia - Winton Road.

Boulia - just getting there is an experience in fascinating landscape. One of the highlights of a trip to Boulia, coming from the Winton direction, is seeing the curiously flat-topped hills. Another highlight is visting the Middleton Hotel on the road between Winton and Boulia. It's the last of nine changing stations on a Cobb and Co route.

Stop at the Cawnpore Lookout to admire the scenery and take photographs, for these kinds of hills have been found only in Australia and South America.

Once in Boulia, visit the Min Min Encounter, a superb centre that is home to a unique theatrical experience based on the Min Min phenomenon. Also see the Stone Cottage Museum.

Then head for Dajarra.
