Entertainment and campoven meals

THE Bailey Bar Caravan Park is not just a caravan park; it’s more like a place to catch up with some great mates who make sure your stay is an experience, not just a night’s accommodation.

Last season, the Bailey Bar Caravan Park raised $3000 for the Royal Flying Doctor’s Service by running yabby races. To have raised that much, there had to have been plenty of people having heaps of fun, while supporting this vital outback service. Join the Bailey Bar crew any Friday afternoon for some hilarious fun!

Their campoven dinners of beef and red wine stew, hot apple crumble, custard, damper and billy tea are now renowned in the outback and a must do for anyone visiting Charleville. You don’t even have to be staying in the Park, just ring and make a booking. Or perhaps a mouth-watering lamb-on-the-spit dinner will tempt your tastebuds. There’s something to appeal to everyone at the Bailey Bar Caravan Park, which can also cater for special diets such as vegetarian and gluten free.

The usual winter time entertainers will be in the park this season with Majella reciting her poetry and Ernie explaining the origins and traditions of the local Bidjara people.

Enjoy the superior accommodation. Luxury units with large verandahs overlooking the green and peaceful park have become a popular choice with discerning travellers. The refurbished two-bedroom family rooms are very spacious and for the budget conscience; their standard en suite cabins now have new flat screen TVs and new kitchens. Disabled facilities for both campers and cabin users are available.

Summer saw the whole park completely regrassed, allowing guests to experience the outback in style and comfort. There’s no red dust in this caravan park.

The Bailey Bar Caravan Park is right in town, surrounded by trees and green grass, with heaps of birds and even the occasional roo. Bailey Bar staff remember you by name, have towelling hand towels in the amenities and help you park in your site. It’s just like a home away from home.
