DIMIDIUM Parks cater to workers, travellers, campers and tourists needing short- or long-term accommodation within Australia. Solutions can be tailored to the needs of long-term workers and other groups. The company can provide catering and other services. Dimidium has numerous parks situated throughout Queensland with several in Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Roma. Its focus is on building a community in these parks to make sure everyone has a great stay.
There are three Dimidium parks in Mount Isa. The first of these, Copper City Riverside Caravan Park is located on West Street by the Leichhardt River. It is close to shops, restaurants and the visitor information centre. The park features two pools, clean amenities, new studios and a communal camp kitchen. Sunset Top Tourist Park on Sunset Drive is quietly tucked away. It too boasts a pool, communal areas to cook and keep food and a television room. Being just 1km out of town means that all the modern conveniences are within minutes’ reach for guests. Argylla Tourist Park on the Barkly Highway is just on the edge of town. With a pool, and communal camp kitchen you will be hard pressed not to make new friends.
Gilbert Park Tourist Village on McIlwraith Street in Cloncurry is about an hour east of Mount Isa. If it’s a quintessential Australian landscape you’re after, the rugged rocky outcrops, spectacular sunsets and sunrises will not leave you wanting. The park is very close to the visitor centre and just minutes from restaurants and features a pool, communal camp kitchen and bush poetry and singing performed from April to September on the stage near the camp kitchen. Make sure you’ve packed your director’s chair!
In the south east of Queensland an hour away from the Surat Basin, the town of Roma has three Dimidium caravan parks. Big Rig Tourist Park on McDowall Street is conveniently close to town, a few minutes away from restaurants and shops, with a pool, a communal camp kitchen and kiosk. The Villa Holiday Park on Northern Road has the advantage of being close to the airport and just outside of town. With a pool and common area, the park maintains a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, not to mention being across the road from Romavilla Winery which produces shiraz, chenin blanc and muscat to name just a few. Roma Aussie Tourist Park on Bowen Street is closer to the heart of town; you’ll find that with its pool, camp kitchen and proximity to shops and restaurants there will be no shortage of things to do and see.
