Cumberland chimney.

Georgetown is the administrative centre for the Etheridge Shire Council. A modest little town, it nevertheless has a surprising amount of facilities ranging from library and hospital to swimming pool and golf course.
Visit the little private museum. An out-of-town site to see is the Cumberland chimney, the sole survivor of a crushing plant back in the gold mining days. Then set off on an adventure to see the sites - and the sights! - of the Explorers Loop.
