Porcupine Gorge.

Hughenden, situated on the Flinders Highway, is the land of "beauty and the beast" ... and it has nothing to do with the children's fairytale.

Beauty can be found at Porcupine Gorge National Park, and the beast is a life-sized skeletal replica of a bird-footed dinosaur, a seven-metre long fellow nicknamed Hughie. See him at the Flinders Discovery Centre. In his day, Hughie would have weighed about 25 tonnes.
