Muttaburra is part of the Aramac Shire and while it's a pretty small place, some things in town are rather on the large side - like the replica dinosaur which sits outside one of the shops.

The Muttaburrasaurus langdoni replica is a reminder that fossil bones of a dinosaur were discovered at Roseberry Downs in this area 35 years ago.

More history can be discovered at a hosptial museum in town and the historic Cassamatis Store. And in the surrounding countryside, you can do everything from trying a little fishing to doing some fossicking for agate or gidgee stones.
