It's called Stonehenge, but this Stonehenge is nothing like the one you'll find in England. It isn't just the weather which is different. Stonehenge in Austrtalia doesn't have any standing stones! But there used to be stones here. Learn the story behind the name when you come to visit.

Stonehenge is a small outback Queensland settlement and its greatest claim to fame is its Department of Defence transeiver, guarding the coastline as part of the over-the-horizon radar defence initiative.
